1. What are you normal hours of operation for the Consular Section?
Normal hours of operation for the Consular Section are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Prior to March 31, 2009, American Citizen Service hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am to 11am and 1pm to 2pm for full services (all but Consular Reports of Birth Abroad) and 1pm to 3:30pm for limited services (passport and federal benefits pick-ups by walk-in and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad by appointment). Until March 31, 2009, Consular Report of Birth Abroad appointments may be made by phone at +66(53)10-7777.
Effective March 31, 2009, American Citizen Services hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 11am and 1pm to 3:30pm and Friday 1pm to 3:30pm with non-emergency services being available by appointment only.
2. What are the security procedures at the Consular Section?
Consulate security procedures require that all visitors submit to a security inspection. No luggage, electronic or photographic equipment is permitted in our waiting room or on other Consulate premises. You may check small electronic items at the Consulate gate.
